Hormonal changes in midlife can lead to the many symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. These changes are different for everyone and can lead to changes in energy, mood, metabolism, libido, etc. Having adequate levels of hormones, not only minimizes such symptoms, it also helps us to age well and prevent many health issues including cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, gynecological problems, Alzheimer’s disease dementia, memory loss, and even some cancers.

Because these changes are unique for everyone, we focus on developing personalized recommendations and treatment plans to support the reduction of these symptoms and improve your overall health. One of the many tools used at Clear Medicine is bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). These hormones are structurally identical to the natural hormones produced in the body, yielding effective results with fewer side effects than synthetic options. Specific doses and methods of administration are customized based on unique need and will be regularly monitored and adjusted as necessary to ensure optimal dosing. Coupled with our nutrition program based on Dr. Natasha Turner’s New York Times bestseller The Hormone Diet, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) can help balance hormones gently and naturally to help you feel your best. At Clear Medicine, we will work with you to design a comprehensive personal treatment protocol that will help you get the most out of your BHRT regimen.

What to expect:

  1.  The initial visit will cover:
  • A complete review of family history
  • A complete review of  medical history
  • A detailed review of chief concerns and health goals
  • A physical exam if indicated
  • Baseline laboratory requisition provided
  • Address underlying and contributing to factors to hormonal imbalance
  • Personalized treatment protocol to prepare the body for BHRT (where indicated)
  1. First follow-up structure:
  • Lab result reviewed
  • BHRT prescription and education (as indicated)
  1. Prescription renewals and dose adjustments:

  1. I like what you said about blood tests and how they are required to ensure the greatest efficacy when it comes to hormone therapy. When dealing with any kind of bodily chemical, it’s important to work with a medical center that has been in the business for a long time. If I were to undergo hormone therapy, I would make a sure effort to contact a healthcare facility in my area that has all the necessary equipment.

    1. Thanks for your comment. You are correct. We use Dynacare for blood tests at Clear Medicine Wellness Boutique and trust them completely with our clients. Their app now ensures that patients can get to the front of the line when needing bloodwork when pre-registered and also allows patients to receive their bloodwork and be able to access at any time. Dr. Natasha Turner ND also has specific blood panels she has created which helps with diagnosis and hormone therapy as well as weight-loss.
